Feed Prices

Feed prices are set to remain steady for the month of July.

HerdFinder contacted a number of feed mills across the country to find out what they are charging for cattle feeds.

While the demand for feed on dairy farms is typically low at this time of year, prices are expected to remain largely stable.

Feed Prices:

A 13% dairy nut is costing between €325/t and €360/t, including delivery.

A 14% dairy nut is costing on average €320/t to €340/t.

Some feed mills have already dropped their prices between €10/t to €20/t this summer.

Calf meal with 18% crude protein is costing in around €400/t.

Meanwhile, 15% beef ration is costing, on average, €325/t and €340/t in co-ops and merchants.
